Our Lady of the Rosary

Today’s celebration commemorates the battle of Lepanto where the Christians won an important battle, the victory being attributed to the intercession of Our Lady. The reading from Acts 1:12-14 mentions Mary presence in the Upper Room and the Gospel, Luke 1:26-38, the Gospel of the Annunciation reminds us that “nothing is impossible to God.”
