Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary

As Mary is at the heart of the Carmelite life we celebrate all her feasts with love and devotion.  The Mass readings Hebrews 5:7-9 and John 19:25-27 remind us that Christ “learned to obey through suffering” and that as Mary stood near the Cross we, too, are call to stand with others in their suffering.
